Important: Border Cam is a passive display application. We do not capture, record, store, process, or transmit any camera footage. All visual content displayed in this app originates from publicly accessible servers operated by government agencies, road authorities, and other third-party organizations. We have no control over such content.
Border Cam ("Application", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile application that aggregates and displays publicly available traffic camera feeds from European border crossing points. The Application acts solely as a viewer interface; it does not generate, modify, host, store, or control any camera images or video streams.
All camera feeds are sourced from publicly accessible URLs operated by independent third parties including, but not limited to, government border agencies, national road authorities, and traffic information services.
Border Cam does not collect, store, or process:
No user account or registration is required to use Border Cam.
To maintain and improve the Application, we use the following third-party services which may collect anonymized technical data on our behalf:
The video streams and images displayed within Border Cam are fetched directly by your device from third-party public servers. At no point does Border Cam intercept, store, relay, or process any camera imagery. The Application functions similarly to a web browser loading a public URL — your device connects directly to the source server.
We do not own, operate, maintain, or have any contractual relationship with the camera systems or servers providing these feeds. The availability, quality, and content of feeds are entirely outside our control.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data held about you. Since we do not collect personal data directly, your primary point of contact for data requests should be the third-party services listed in Section 3.
For AdMob's data practices under GDPR, a consent dialog may be presented upon first launch in accordance with Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) requirements.
Border Cam is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
Since we do not collect or store personal data on our own servers, there is no personal data at risk from our infrastructure. Third-party services handle data security according to their own standards and policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
